Sahar Vermezyari is the Director of the East Scarborough Storefront. She has over 20 years of experience in leadership positions in the non-profit sector, specifically in community development and equity & anti-racism initiatives. Sahar identifies as a cis-gender racialized woman with lived experience of poverty and being a refugee and is grateful to be living and working on Indigenous lands on Turtle Island. | Gillian Mason is the new CEO at Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council. Gillian's career includes roles as impact and social change consultant, systems change specialist, and a Senior Executive with a career in leadership positions in the non-profit sector hyper-locally, nationally and across the globe. where she has brought her expertise to non-profits, private foundations, governments and corporate clients committed to deep impact and social change. Gillian is a proud Scarborough resident who cares deeply about her community, the environment and democracy in which we live. | Anne Gloger is the Strategy Director at Catalysts' Circle, a new nonprofit dedicated to supporting an ever-increasing network of people leveraging the Connected Community Approach for a more equitable society. In her role with Catalysts' Circle Anne makes what she learned as founding Director at East Scarborough Storefront and as Principal at the Centre for Connected Communities useful, available and accessible to others. Anne lives in Victoria, BC (territory of the Lekwungen speaking people) and is passionate about the outdoors, reconcilliation, justice and learning.
