Marissa Bumanlag is an award-winning student-leader named for Post-Secondary Excellence in all of Canada for 2018 and recognized as Contributor with Oxford University Press for the latest publication of Eastern Traditions. Bumanlag completed her Bachelor’s Arts (Honours) in Political Science with Distinction at the University of Windsor and completed the Governance Training Certification Program at Ryerson University. Bumanlag has over seven years of non-profit management experience across Windsor-Essex County and Canada, leading her to be recognized as an international ambassador for the University of Windsor. Bumanlag is currently a Bachelor’s of Education candidate for the Primary-Junior division at the University of Windsor and is working as a Research Associate with Workforce WindsorEssex as the first recipient of the John Toth Experiential Learning Program.
