AI and the Future of Post-Secondary Education: Navigating the AI Revolution (The Conference Board of Canada)

How are post-secondary institutions currently using AI? What guidelines do they have in place, and what guidelines are lacking? Are Canadian post-secondary institutions ready for the growth of AI?

Income dynamics of new immigrants to Canada (Office of the Parliamentary Budget Officer)

Between 2014 and 2018, the median total income of newly arrived immigrants went from 55% of the median total income of all tax filers to 78%. This implies that the total income of new immigrants rose significantly faster than all tax filers’ total income.

Gen-AI: Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Work (IMF)

Advanced economies will experience the benefits and pitfalls of AI sooner than emerging market and developing economies, largely due to their employment structure focused on cognitive-intensive roles. Women and college-educated individuals are more exposed but also better poised to reap AI benefits, and older workers are potentially less able to adapt to the new technology.
