Courses career professionals can take in summer 2019

Summer can be a great time to check in with your career goals. If you haven’t been able to hit your professional development targets so far in 2019, there are many courses – both online and in-person – available to career professionals this summer that can help you boost your knowledge and expand your toolbox.

Holistic Narrative Career Professional Certification (OneLifeTools)

June 17-19

This training, which can be attended remotely or in person in Toronto, includes: 10 narrative assessment credits, a professional certification, a 50-plus page training manual and four one-hour post-training teleconference calls.

Personality Dimensions® Level I (Personality Dimensions)

July 17-19 – Hamilton, ON | June 19-21 – Toronto, ON Canada | July 24-26 – Toronto | Aug. 6-8 – Vancouver | Aug. 14-16 – Toronto | Aug. 21-23 – Toronto

Upon completion of this three-day workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Access the online administration tool to complete electronic assessments
  • Purchase hard copy administration tools
  • Charge to facilitate the assessment tool

Dates are also available in Toronto in summer 2019 for Personality Dimensions® Level II. 

MBTI® Certification Program (Psychometrics)

June 17-20 – Edmonton | July 8-11 – Ottawa | July 29-Aug. 1 – Halifax | Aug. 12-15 – Toronto | Aug. 19-22 – Vancouver

By becoming certified, participants will be equipped with all the necessary tools – including slide decks and facilitator materials – to effectively use the Myers-Briggs Step I™ and Step II™ assessments in a wide variety of topic areas.

Cybercounselling – Level 1 (TherapyOnline)

July 5-Sept. 26

This three-module course is designed for experienced counselling practitioners who want to offer professional, ethical online counselling to their clients. It covers video, live text-chat and email-style communications methods.
