This report explores current trends in K-12 workplace well-being, compiled from Canadian and international research, conversations with Canadian educators, and the EdCan Network’s 2025 pan-Canadian K-12 Workplace Wellbeing Survey. The 2025 survey explored K-12 education employees’ feelings towards work, aspects of their work that supported and negatively affected their well-being, and the perceived efficacy of strategies intended to enhance well-being at work.

Employment fell by 33,000 (-0.2%) in March and the employment rate declined 0.2 percentage points to 60.9%. The unemployment rate rose 0.1 percentage points to 6.7%.
