CareerWise is always on the lookout for the latest reports related to career development. Here are several reports that we found interesting this week.

State of the Global Workplace: 2023 Report (Gallup)

This year’s report examines the global rise in employees who are thriving at work, even as worker stress remains at a record high.

Ableism in Canadian Workplaces (Western University)

This report’s findings show that ableism often shows up in the context of employees needing accommodations to best do their job and is also present in the daily experiences of existing as a person living with a disability in a workplace.

Equitable Recovery and New Frontiers: Understanding Demand and Supply in Retail, Manufacturing, Construction, and Hospitality (ICTC)

This report provides an in-depth analysis of structural changes in Ontario’s economy and labour market as the province moves further into recovery from the pandemic. Four core sectors are the focal point of this work: manufacturing, construction, retail, and hospitality.
