CareerWise is always on the lookout for the latest reports related to career development. Here are four reports that we found interesting this week.

Disability, Work and Inclusion: Mainstreaming in All Policies and Practices (OECD)

This report documents the current labour market situation of people with disabilities, who continue to face large employment, unemployment and poverty gaps compared with people without disability. The report concludes that the goal set up 20 years ago of making disability policies pro-active and employment-oriented has not been achieved and calls for rigorous disability mainstreaming in all relevant policies and practices.

After School: Keeping International Students In-Province (The Conference Board of Canada)

This research examines whether international students remain in their province of study after their first study permit and how provincial governments can increase retention in the province of study.

Global Talent Trends (LinkedIn)

This report, drawing on a sample of 14 countries including Canada, surfaces data insights from both LinkedIn’s Economic Graph and its member community to better understand how labour-market trends affect candidates, employees and workplaces.

The Career Cluster Report (Study Work Grow)

We live in a world with a vast array of jobs, but most people only know about a fraction of those on offer. This report explores a way to visualize work not as a specific job in a specfici industry, but as groups or ‘Clusters’ of people who share similar work environments, complete similar tasks, need similar skills and achieve similar outcomes.
