The vocational education and training (VET) sector has faced particular challenges during the crisis, most notably the fact that digital learning environments don’t work as well for practice-oriented learning as they do for academic learning.

Only 6% of surveyed employers are planning to bring their entire workforce back to the office. The majority plan to offer hybrid or remote work to at least some employees post-vaccine rollout.
