CERIC funds research to support the professional integration of immigrants in Quebec

CERIC will fund a new research project in Quebec that will examine how services can better support the professional integration of immigrants in response to the struggles many face despite being selected for their qualifications and having high levels of education and training. The project will be led by Marcelline Bangali, a professor at Université Laval’s Faculty of Education, and undertaken in partnership with the Service d’Orientation et d’Intégration des Immigrants au Travail (SOIT), a non-profit employment agency in Quebec City serving newcomers and employers.
