Gabrielle Grimes

Gabrielle Grimes, MA, RCC lives and works on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Kwantlen, Matsqui, and Semiahmoo Nations (Langley, BC). She is a Registered Clinical Counsellor in full-time practice and an emerging researcher. Her lived experience as a suicide loss survivor shapes both her clinical work and her scholarly focus on suicidality, suicide bereavement, emerging adulthood, occupational identity development and arts-based research. She is currently collaborating with Dr. Deepak Mathew on a study exploring how individuals who were actively suicidal in early emerging adulthood go on to self-define as doing well in their careers.
