Feven Tesfamariam is the External Communications Co-ordinator at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada. She has a strong educational background in communications and believes the key to effective public communications is to be clear, concise and precise. She is passionate about youth mentoring and advocates for widespread understanding of its benefits and public support. Big Brothers Big Sisters provides one-on-one and group mentoring services for more than 40,000 children and youth in 1,100 communities across Canada. With the support of a mentor, young people can overcome their adversities and develop the confidence to reach their full potential.
