Certificate Program: An Intersectional Approach to Supporting Career Development (CERIC & CASE)

Offered in partnership with the Canadian Association for Supported Employment (CASE), this certificate builds practical skills for inclusive, equity-informed career development practice. The program focuses on supporting jobseekers with intersecting identities, particularly Black, Indigenous and People of Colour who experience disability (BIPOC-D). Participants learn how to identify and address workplace barriers, advocate for equitable hiring practices and integrate strengths-based, intersectional strategies into their work.
Career Development Practitioner Certificate (Douglas College)

This part-time, asynchronous certificate program aligns with the Canadian Standards and Guidelines for Career Development Practitioners and supports the development of core competencies for effective practice. Participants build skills in assessment, labour market analysis and career transition support, preparing them to work confidently with diverse client populations.
Ignite Motivation (CERIC)

MBTI Certification Training Program for Canadians (Psychometrics)

This certification prepares career professionals to administer and interpret the MBTI, which is a widely used personality assessment. Through instructor-led training, participants learn to apply type theory ethically and effectively to support career exploration, decision-making and workplace communication. It’s especially useful for career professionals seeking practical tools to deepen client engagement and support meaning-making in career conversations.
Personality Dimensions Levels I and II (CSLR)
Multiple dates between Jan. and March (online & in-person)
Personality Dimensions Level I prepares participants to confidently administer and interpret personality assessments, with a focus on foundational theory, ethical practice and adult learning principles. Level II builds on this foundation by developing advanced facilitation and instructional skills, enabling participants to train and support other facilitators.
