COVID-19 and beyond: The role of colleges and institutes in Canada’s resilient recovery (Colleges & Institutes Canada)

Colleges and institutes are ideally placed to support Canadians and help their communities recover in the months ahead. Through their deep community connections, their commitment to respond to the evolving needs of local stakeholders and employers, and their proven track-record in terms of skills development, they are poised to support a strong and sustainable economic recovery.

Navigating uncertainty: Building resilience in Canada’s social sector (PWC)

This paper is based on a series of interviews with key informants, stakeholder roundtables and a survey that solicited the views of 548 social sector leaders from coast to coast. Its goal was to build upon the existing research to better understand the longer-term impacts of the pandemic on Canada’s social sector and the opportunities they have to upskill and build organizational resilience in the new world of work.
