A podcast for creative entrepreneurs, freelancers and side-hustlers. Dig into the mindset, habits, routines and boundaries to help you make money doing what you love. 

Canadian Job Search Podcast 

Landing a job today can be challenging if you are a recent graduate or new Canadian. This podcast’s mission is to help people get the job they want. It features interviews with industry experts who provide tips and strategies to help jobseekers navigate the recruiting and interview process.  

CareerCloud Radio 

Guests include resume writers, career coaches, recruiters and job seekers. Topics include resumes, interviewing, job resources and leveraging social media to job hunt.  

Early Careers Podcast 

The Early Careers Podcast with Jack and Ollie will guide you through every aspect of the early careers market. As the co-founders of AllAboutGroup.org and R M P Enterprises, the pair have more than 20 years of experience in the marketplace between them. 

Get Work Savvy  

This podcast aims to help people find a job they enjoy. Host Liam Gardner speaks to people working in a variety of jobs and industries.  

Industry Interrupted 

This podcast from The Globe and Mail examines new generation of interrupters, the industries they’re turning on their heads and how the big players are fighting back. While this is a business-focused podcast, jobseekers considering career pathways in disrupting or disrupted industries may find it informative.  

Just Work It (Atkinson Foundation) 

A provocative, energizing and uncommon conversation about decent work for millennials.  

Major Jobs Podcast 

High schooler Teland interviews people who have different careers – from a plumber to a venture capitalist to a career coach – exploring what they do, how they got into their jobs and more.  

Manager Tools  

Manager Tools is a weekly business podcast focused on helping professionals become more effective managers and leaders. Each week, the podcast shares specific actions for professionals to take to achieve their desired management and career objectives.  

Repurpose Your Career  

Repurpose Your Career, brought to you by Career Pivot’s Marc Miller, is a podcast for those in the second half of life to come together to discuss how repurpose their careers for the 21st century. Come listen to career experts give you proven strategies, listen to people like you tell their stories on how they repurposed their careers and finally get your questions answered. 

Safe for Work 

The podcast is an advice-based show for all the sticky situations people run into, including surviving the holidays at work, eating healthy at the office, negotiating raises and more. Hosts Liz Dolan and Rico Gagliano talk with listeners who call in and business leaders to unearth career advice. 

Side Hustle School 

A daily show for everyone who works a regular job and wants to start an income-earning project on the side. In each episode, listeners will hear a different story of someone who’s started a side hustle – along with what went well, how that person overcame challenges, and what happened as a result. 

Slate’s Working Podcast 

Talking to people about how they do their jobs, from a sports bra scientist to a temporary housing co-ordinator to an oyster farmer, and much more.   

Startup Canada Podcast Show 

This show speaks with the movers and shakers of Canada’s entrepreneurship community to give a glimpse into the future of business and share insights on everything from social innovation to the future of work, investing and why we need to think bigger to take our businesses global. 

The Broad Experience 

A conversation about women, the workplace and success, covering a broad wide range of topics including ageism, working through menopause, pregnancy loss and working, and military spouses. Episodes began in 2012.
