Mairead Matthews (https://www.linkedin.com/in/maireadmatthews/) is a Research and Policy Analyst at the Information and Communications Technology Council of Canada (ICTC), a national centre of expertise on the digital economy. With ICTC, Mairead brings her longstanding interest in Canadian policy to the conversation on technology and 21st century regulatory challenges. Mairead’s areas of interest include internet policy, data governance, and the social and ethical impacts of emerging tech. | Rosina Hamoni (https://www.linkedin.com/in/rosinahamoni/) is a Research Analyst at the Information and Communications Technology Council of Canada (ICTC), a national centre of expertise on the digital economy. At ICTC, Rosina works on analyzing labour market information, statistical and econometric analysis, as well as economic forecasting. Rosina has contributed to ICTC reports on topics such as blockchain, smart cities, ICTC’s forecasting Outlook report, among other subjects. Rosina holds an MSc in epidemiology and biostatistics from the University of Leeds.
