Gert Van Brussel

Gert Van Brussel is the founder and owner of VBC talent development bv, in Sittard, the Netherlands. His professional activities includes executive coaching, consulting (nascent) entrepreneurs, managing career development projects, career guidance and counselling. Van Brussel enjoys sharing his expertise, presenting workshops and seminars. In addition, he is a thesis supervisor of master's students SHRM at the Open University of the Netherlands and senior lecturer Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Applied Sciences of Surinam. He is the author of professional and scientific articles and book chapters in the field of career development and entrepreneurship and member of the advisory board of LoopbaanVisie (CareerVision), the Dutch journal for career professionals. Van Brussel was president of NOLOC, the Dutch association of career professionals, from 1999 to 2005. He is an Honourable Member of NOLOC and, since 2009, the board representative international affairs of this association. From 2015 on, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of IAEVG, the global association of career guidance professionals. Van Brussel holds a master's degree in Psychology and a PhD in HR management.
