Dawson Strand (He/Him) is a master's student in counselling psychology at the University of Calgary. These days, I enjoy getting out in nature, playing DnD with friends and procrastinating my thesis. Writing for me is firstly a mode of self-reflection, often gathering around the central question of: What does it mean to live well? In my research and practice, I am drawn to existential questions of meaning making: How do we make sense of the world, and where our sense-making differs – how do we engage in ethical forms of dialogue? Following the completion of my masters, I am looking forward to pursuing registration as a psychologist, and continuing this practice which I am so inspired and humbled by.
