2023 State of the Tech Workforce Canada (Computing Technology Industry Association)
Net tech employment in Canada reached an estimated 1,352,210 workers in 2022, approximately a 10% increase over the previous year. The top four occupation categories for job postings are software engineers and designers, IT support and network technicians, database analysts and administrators, and computer and information system managers.
Projections of Tourism Employment in Canada (Tourism HR Canada)
Tourism employment through 2023 is expected to be just over 2 million, or 97.1% of its pre-pandemic (2019) levels. It is expected to surpass pre-pandemic levels in 2024.
Self-employment among women in Canada (Statistics Canada)
