Global discussions surrounding the COP26 United Nations Climate Change Conference are heightening the urgency to act on economic and social issues inextricably linked to climate change. According to the UN, if cities in 21 emerging markets put climate-smart growth at the top of their recovery plans, they could gain as much as $7 trillion in investments and create 144 million new jobs by 2030.
