Ontario School Counsellors’ Association Conference 2019 (OSCA)

Proposals due: June 13, 2019 | Conference: Oct. 17-18, 2019 – Mississauga, ON

This year’s conference explores the theme “Constructing a Bright Future: Avenues for Career and Personal Decision-Making.” Presentation proposals are welcomed in the areas of mental health and well-being and modern pathways.

Futures Conference (First Work)

Proposals due: June 28, 2019 | Conference: Oct. 22-24, 2019 – Collingwood, ON

The theme of the 2019 Futures Conference is “Workforce Revolution: Designing a Brave New World.” Thematic areas include: critical competencies for workforce development, building a highly skilled workforce, enterprising and earning, and radical leadership.

Let’s Get to Work Conference 2019 (Manitoba Association for Career Development)

Proposals due: June 30, 2019 | Conference: Nov. 8, 2019 – Winnipeg

The Let’s Get to Work Conference allows people and organizations an opportunity to exchange information and explore innovative approaches in the areas of career counselling and career development. Last year’s attendees expressed interest in the areas of labour market information, assessment tools, ethics, innovation and more.
