Alberta
Alberta Teacher’s Association Council of School Counsellors (CSC)
The Alberta Teachers’ Association Council of School Counsellors is a specialist council created to increase members’ knowledge and skills in a defined specialty area and to provide professional development support for members. The Council holds an annual conference.
Career Development Association of Alberta (CDAA)
The CDAA is a professional association of approximately 300 members from all corners of Alberta, Northwest Territories, Yukon, other areas of Canada, the United States and abroad. Members work in a broad range of settings, including government, non-profit organizations, settlement and immigration agencies, and much more.
International Coach Federation (ICF) – Calgary and Edmonton chapters
ICF is a professional association of personal and business coaches that seeks to preserve the integrity of coaching around the globe. It supports individuals looking to become coaches find the information and training they need, and promotes ethics in the coaching practice.

Saskatchewan Career Development Association (SKCDA)
The mission of the SKCDA is to promote the development of career professionals’ excellence through networking, information sharing and lifelong learning.
Saskatchewan Career Work Education Association (SCWEA)
SCWEA is a professional growth network dedicated to supporting career education, career counselling and career work education through collaboration and community partnerships. It hosts an annual conference for career development professionals.
Manitoba
CPHR Manitoba
CPHR Manitoba is a professional association dedicated to strengthening the human resources profession. Members can access workshops, engage in learning partnerships, attend conferences and join community-building groups.
Manitoba Association for Career Development (MACD)
MACD promotes standards of practice for career development practitioners through education, professional growth and certification. MACD hosts the annual Let’s Get to Work conference, and members can register for CERIC’s Cannexus conference at a discounted rate.
Manitoba School Counsellors’ Association (MSCA)
The MSCA is a special area group of the Manitoba Teachers’ Society, made up of individuals working or interested in the field of guidance and counselling. It includes people from a wide variety of professions including school and career counsellors, resource teachers, administrators, therapists, social workers,vocational educators, government officials and more.
